Joseph Iriogbe, MSIT Graduate
My first encounter with the Splunk software was Data 521, a course I took in summer 2016. In this course, we used Splunk to determine some variables on the projects, such as events, stats, charts, sales analyses, Geo locations and deriving IP addresses. The course gave me an in-depth knowledge of Splunk.
Fast forward to April 2017. I got an interview with the Splunk company, the company that makes the Splunk software. They were very impressed during the interview that I have a good knowledge of the software. I was offered a position as a support engineer for the company!
I would like to thank Prof. John Hsu for his awesome skills in teaching the course and also the university president Mrs. Jill Martin and all of the UoNA staff members for doing a tremendous job in helping students grow in and out of the classroom.
